U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans to host the 2026 G20 Leaders Summit at his own golf resort.
U.S. President Donald Trump made remarks regarding the G20 Leaders Summit to be held in the U.S. in 2026 during a press conference in the Oval Office at the White House. Trump stated that he would not attend the G20 Summit to be held in South Africa this year, adding that Vice President JD Vance would attend the meeting in his place.
Trump noted that the G20 Leaders Summit, to be held in the US on December 14-16, 2026, will take place in Miami, announcing that they plan to host the summit at his golf resort. Trump stated that they “will not make any money from this venture, and that his goal is to host the leaders in the best possible way.”
