The cruise ship Crown Iris, carrying Israeli tourists, was protested this time on the Greek island of Crete.

Protests against the cruise ship Crown Iris, which carries Israeli tourists, continue in Greece. The ship, which was previously protested by Palestinian supporters on the islands of Syros and Rhodes, was protested this time on the island of Crete. The ship, which has been the target of protesters 3 times in the last week, was greeted with a giant Palestinian flag unfurled by the pro-Palestinian group at Agios Nikolaos Port as it docked on the island. The demonstrators chanted “Free Palestine” slogans as the tourists on board the Crown Iris disembarked and boarded buses to visit the island.

Police kept the demonstrators away from the pier where the ship docked and intervened with tear gas. Four people were detained in the incidents.
