Ireland has launched the “Our Living Islands” project to increase the population of its remote islands. There is no requirement to be Irish to live on these islands.
According to The Independent, the Irish government will pay 84,000 euros to those who settle on these islands. But there is a problem; the properties on these islands are abandoned or vacant and in need of major renovations.
There are properties for sale in the Aran Islands, Clare Island, Dursey, Inishturk, Inishbofin and Bere, islands with rugged coastlines, breathtaking views and unique charm.
