Three people died and about 50 people were injured in a stampede at a festival in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. 'Jagannath Rath Yatra Festival' celebrations started in Puri district of Odisha state. Authorities announced that 3 people lost their lives and around 50 people were injured, 6 of them seriously, in a stampede that broke out when the crowd gathered near a temple around 04.00 local time.
