Greece remains one of the most popular destinations on the German market in the 2025 summer season.
Bookings have already picked up strongly early on, with many tour operators reporting double-digit growth compared to the previous year. Crete, Rhodes, Kos and Corfu are particularly popular, while smaller destinations such as Kefalonia, Samos and Thassos are also increasingly in demand.
Rising demand among tour operators
At TUI, Greece is starting the season with high growth in bookings. Corfu in particular is establishing itself as a trend destination, while Zakynthos is showing the strongest development with growth of over 20 percent. Interest is also increasing on the mainland, especially among cultural travelers.
Vtours also confirms strong demand, particularly for Crete. Coral Travel and Alltours are seeing strong early booking business, with smaller destinations steadily gaining in popularity. Schauinsland-Reisen reports double-digit growth, particularly for Crete, Rhodes, Kos and Chalkidiki. (Touristik Aktuell)
