1 min read

The 'congestion charge' for vehicles in the US came into force for the first time in New York.

In order to prevent traffic congestion in the US, a new application has started in New York. According to the application, people who will enter the areas around the Empire State, Times Square and Wall Street south of Central Park with their vehicles will pay up to 9 dollars a day. Those who want to enter these areas during the busiest hours of the day will pay 9 dollars and 2.25 dollars at other times.

This practice aims to improve public transportation infrastructure in New York.
