Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Medbouli announced that they broke a record by hosting 15.7 million tourists in 2024.
Speaking at the press conference, Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Medbouli described the figure as “promising” and said that the number of tourists would have reached 18 million had it not been for the events taking place in the region.
He added that they hope to reach the target of 18 million tourists by 2025, especially with the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum this year. (Xinhua)
