It was reported that 12 people died due to carbon monoxide poisoning in Gudauri, Georgia's largest ski resort. According to the police investigation, one body found belonged to a Georgian citizen and the other 11 bodies belonged to foreign tourists.
According to the police, the incident appears to be an accident. Authorities stated that a generator running on fuel oil was activated after a power outage in the building on Friday.
