Out of a group of about 90 Vietnamese tourists traveling to Jeju Island in South Korea, 38 did not return home on the scheduled date and disappeared. Authorities are looking for missing tourists.
Vietnamese tourists who came to South Korea's Jeju Island have gone missing. According to a statement from the Jeju Tourism Organization, a group of about 90 Vietnamese tourists arrived in Jeju from Nha Trang, Vietnam on November 14 on a VietJet Airlines flight. While 38 tourists in the group went missing just before the return flight on November 17, the other tourists returned to their country as planned. The Vietnamese, who have a 30-day visa-free travel permit, can stay on the island until December 14, officials said, adding that efforts are underway to find the missing tourists.
