The number of Russian tourists traveling to Saudi Arabia without a visa will triple
ATOR vice presidents expect a significant increase in mutual tourist traffic between Russia and Saudi Arabia following the removal of visa requirements.
This interest is also supported by the development of air travel.Artur Muradyan, ATOR International Tourism Vice President and CEO of tour operator Space Travel, said that if visa-free travel is introduced, tourist flows from Russia to Saudi Arabia could increase two to threefold by next summer.
Muradyan noted that many Russian tourists travel to Saudi Arabia to visit the holy sites for Muslims outside of charter tours, and that visa exemption would be a major advantage for them, as it would save them a significant amount of money, around $150 per person. (Atorus.ru)
